LifeLab showcase!

It’s been another fantastic year for LifeLab!

Vishaan Vohra and Maddie Harris with Skelly Lucy Green and Nick Evans with SkellyPrimary school children across Southampton are now taking part in our Early LifeLab programme and teenagers aged between 14 and 17 now have the opportunity to take part in our Youth Panel, which enables them to research the issues that matter most to them and we launched the new Young Researcher Training Programme.

Plus, we celebrated our 15,000 students to have taken part in the original LifeLab programme since the facility opened 10 years ago.

We were delighted to celebrate these achievements and much more with students, parents, teachers, supporters and volunteers at our annual showcase event. We were also joined by staff from the University of Southampton and University Hospital Southampton.

Selected students from the Lifelab programme, Youth Panel and Young Researcher Training Programme were invited to display their work from the past year and speak with attendees.

Certificates were aware awarded to all the young people present to credit their fantastic work.
